ABOUT THE WILDFIRE SILENT AUCTION

Since 2002, the grassroots efforts of Wildfire have survived without government support.

Wildfire provides a local outlet for creative expression for all ages, hosting classes in drawing, painting, yoga, dance including ballroom, tap, hip-hop, ballet and many artistic community events.

Funding relies on the community of artists, citizens and business owners

who appreciate art, most of which is a result of the Silent Auction held in conjunction with the Street Festival as well as the Holiday Art Show & Sale.  Funds generated are used to buy supplies for art classes, publish catalogues, pay rent and utilities, advertise, and to support the theatre company and festivals.
